O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection based on the representation dated 05.03.2018 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner has made an application, dated 05.03.2018 to the first respondent. Sofar, no order has been passed by the respondent police and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that if the representation of the petitioner is pending, the same may be considered on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.In the light of the above submission made by both the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on merits, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to say that the petitioner has to furnish the representation along with the order copy to be submitted to the first respondent.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
