O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's statutory appeal pending on the file of the first respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that she has applied for a free house site patta, as she is the destitute widow. However, the same has been rejected by the Tahsildar on 10.11.2021. Aggrieved by the same, she has preferred a statutory appeal before the first respondent on 26.02.2022. The petitioner claims that she is a destitute widow and therefore, this Court is of the considered view that the appeal will have to be disposed of expeditiously. She has also filed this Writ Petition only for that purpose.

W.P.(MD)No.4290 of 2022 3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's appeal is disposed of expeditiously by the first respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 26.02.2022 seeking for issuance of free house site patta within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire. 5.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
