ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks leave to conduct the petition mentioned event. It appears that the petitioner's request was rejected last evening, that is, after filing of this writ petition.

3.I am of the view that conducting an event of this nature is not going to cause any disturbance to the public order, because, such a function is being held every year. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.4640 of 2020 4.The petitioner underakes to conclude the programme by 11.00 pm. Therefore, the petitioner is permitted to give a fresh application to the second respondent and the second respondent is directed to grant permission for the petition mentioned event. Of-course, it is open to the second respondent to incorporate such conditions as he deems fit as regards timing and other norms. The petitioner undertakes to abide by the same.

5.The writ petition is disposed of on these terms. No costs.
