O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioners representation dated 13.02.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, he is working in Coimbatore and his family members are residing at T.Kallupatti, within the jurisdiction of the second respondent. While so, the second respondent frequently went to the house of the petitioner's parents and enquired about the petitioner without disclosing anything about the complaint pending against the petitioner. Therefore the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent police and the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.

Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that friend of the petitioner involved in a criminal case and was absconding. In order to know the whereabouts of the said Manikandan, the respondent police enquired about the petitioner. Thereafter, Manikandan was arrested by the second respondent. Apart from that, they have no way harassed the petitioner.
