FOR BAIL IN CRIME NO. 809 OF 2020 ON THE FILE OF THE RESPONDENT POLICE ORDER : The petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 09.04.2021 and the requisition letter of the Judge, Family court, Sessions Judge, (FAC) Mahila Court, Pudukkottai, vide letter in D.No. 794/2021, dated 23/10/2021 and this Court made the following order: Today, this case is listed under the caption "Extension of Time for Trial Court".

2.It is evident from the records that this Court vide order dated 23.10.2021, has directed the trial Court to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Judge, Family Court, Sessions Judge(FAC), Mahila Court, Pudukkottai, has submitted a letter dated 23.10.2021, stating that the the prosecution had not produced the witnesses on the ground that the complainant being the grandfather of the victim child was sick due to corona and was not in a position to attend Court and she was not able to proceed with the trial. The case is presently posted to 27.10.2021 for examination of list witnesses LW1 to LW7. There are totally 21 list witnesses to be examined and I undertake to dispose the case as early as possible and he seeks further four months time for disposal of the said case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD) No.3759 of 2021 3.Considering the reasons assigned, this Court is inclined to extend the time sought for. Accordingly, four(4) months time is granted to the learned Judge, Family Court, Sessions Judge(FAC), Mahila Court, Pudukkottai, to complete the trial in Spl.S.C.No.42 of 2020 from the receipt of copy of this order.
