This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 5 to pay and disburse a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as compensation to the legal heirs of the petitioner's father, Shanmugavel, who died on 05.01.2024 due to the alleged faulty maintenance of the electric line by respondent Nos.3 to 5, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's father died due to electrocution caused by the faulty maintenance of the electric line by respondent Nos.3 to 5. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 16.09.2025 seeking compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- for the death of his father. However, the said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.1, 3 to 5 would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

4. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
