This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and liberty within time frame.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions would submit that the matter was closed as mistake of fact.

4. Though it is stated that the complaint given by the petitioner was closed as mistake of fact, taking note of the allegations made in the petition, in which police protection is sought for, a direction is given to the second respondent to look into the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation given by the petitioner dated 27.03.2015.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
