PRAYER: This Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.2871 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent within a reasonable time as may specified by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.G.Thirunavukkarasu For Respondents : Mr.K.Anbarasan, Government Advocate(Crl.Side).

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.2871 of 2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is stated that the petitioner has lodged a complaint which was registered in Crime No.2871 of 2016 by the second respondent for the offences under Sections 120(b), 203, 406, 468 and 420 I.P.C. Though the case was registered in the year 2016, there is no progress and that therefore the petitioner states that he is constrained to file this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) however on instructions submitted that it is only because of the failure on the part of the petitioner to furnish certain documents, the investigation is delayed and that therefore, a direction may be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issued to the petitioner to furnish all the relevant documents for further investigation.

5.Though the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) is denied, the counsel for the petitioner states the petitioner will be able to produce the relevant documents which are in their possession before the second respondent.

6. Hence, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- "The petitioner shall produce all relevant documents as required by the second respondent in connection with the investigation, forthwith and the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.2871 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

8. The Criminal Original petition is allowed, accordingly. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-I) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar.
