The petitioner's application dated 28.03.2018 seeking to survey her lands measuring 281⁄2 Cents in R.S.No.355/1D1A co-related to New R.S.No.355/8, situated at Senthurai, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District and to demarcate the same by laying survey stones, after giving opportunity to the neighbours as well as to the party concerned, has been kept pending without disposal, which prompted the petitioner to file the present writ petition. 2.

It is needless to point out that whenever any representation / application is made to the statutory authorities, the authority concerned is bound to dispose the same in one way or the other, rather than keeping it pending indefinitely. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such an exercise shall be done only after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the person who may be interested in the subject land.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
