This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr. P.C., to direct the Learned District and Sessions Court(Special Court for SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities))Act,1989 Ramanathapuram to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender in Crime No.37 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and perusing the order in Crl OP(MD) No.4316 of 2021 dated 22.03.2021, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of 1/3

Mr.D.Balamurapandi, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, this Court made the following order:

This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed to extent the time to execute the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4316 of 2021 on 22.03.2021.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to covid-19 pandemic and Stat Legislative Assembly election, the petitioner was not able to execute the sureties before the trial Court.

3.Being satisfied with the said reasons set out in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed and the petitioner is granted time till 23.03.2022 to comply with the directions set out in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4316 of 2021 dated 22.03.2021. If the petitioner fails to comply with the same, the order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4316 of 2021 dated 22.03.2021 by this Court will automatically stands vacated.
