This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 and investigate the same, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 05.01.2018, but sofar, no action has bee taken and hence, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after receipt of the complaint CSR No.4 of 2018 has been issued and the same is pending for enquiry.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence is made out, he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
