O R D E R

The petitioner seeks limited relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey and measure the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.61/3A, Sengattampatty, Nilakottai, Dindigul District. The petitioner has made an application for survey on 19.02.2025. The said application is pending on the file of the first respondent.

2.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned Counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3.Admittedly, the petitioner is the owner of the property in respect of which he seeks survey to be conducted. Prima facie there appears to be no third party interest also involved. The petitioner has made an application for survey on 19.02.2025 and also remitted the requisite charges. It would therefore suffice to dispose of his representation with a direction to the first respondent to conduct survey, with the assistance of the second respondent Surveyor, based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
