ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.547 of 2024, dated 16.12.2024 for the offences under Sections 126(2), 191(2), 191(3), 296(b) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsels on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.

3. The defacto complainant and all the accused are present and the defacto complainant represented that he entered into a compromise as they are known to each other. A compromise memo signed by the parties, is also filed before this Court.

4. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.

5. Considering the nature of the offences and the relationship between the parties and they have also entered into a compromise, it is appropriate to allow this petition.

6. Recording the compromise, this petition stands allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.547 of 2024, dated 16.12.2024 on the file of the first respondent police as against the petitioner is quashed.
