to enable peaceful worship of the villagers and to avoid any untoward situation.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The subject matter pertains to celebration of the petition mentioned temple festival. It appears that there is a dispute between the petitioner on the one hand and the seventh respondent on the other. The sixth respondent has already addressed to the Tashildar, Oddanchatram for convening a peace meeting. It is not for the Writ Court to interfere in this matter. It is only the local official who will be well-versed with the ground reality. The third respondent is directed to convene a peace meeting to resolve the dispute on hand forthwith.

3.The Writ Petition is disposed of with this direction. No costs.
