ORDER
This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4, considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2022 is receiving attention and the 2nd respondent has taken steps to appoint the Inspector of HR & CE, namely, the 3rd respondent as the Special Officer for conducting the temple festival and 'Mandagapadi'. 2.The complaint of the petitioner that different Karais with caste/community identity is to be eschewed, is acceptable. Such retrograde practice cannot be allowed to be practiced in public space and such religious events. At the same time, the rights of the petitioner to perform "Mandagapadi" can be allowed in accordance with the existing practice and customs.
