ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second and third respondents herein to register the decree of suits in O.S.No.668 of 1996 on the file of the I Additional District Munsif Court, Tirunelveli, O.S.No.97 of 2012 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli and O.S.No.105 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Tirunelveli with regard to property in Survey No.635/2, 637/3, 637/5, 702/2, 722 and 698 situated at Prancherry village, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2021.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that when he presented the decree before the Sub-Registrar for registration, the same has not been registered and is kept pending.

4. This Court has repeatedly held that any sale certificate or a decree of the Court is presented for registration, it is duty of the registering authority to register the same.

5. In such view of the matter, the third respondent is directed to register the original final decree made in O.S.No.668 of 1996 on the file of the I Additional District Munsif Court, Tirunelveli, O.S.No.97 of 2012 on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Tirunelveli and O.S.No.105 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Tirunelveli with regard to property in Survey No.635/2, 637/3, 637/5, 702/2, 722 and 698 situated at Prancherry village, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
