Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to instruct the third respondent to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 9 and provide protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering his representation, dated 04.04.2022.

This petition has been filed to directing the respondents 1 and 2 to instruct the third respondent to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 9 and provide protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering his representation, dated 04.04.2022.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the respondent police on 04.04.2021 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3. In view of the same, the third respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondent Nos.4 to 9 and dispose of the same, within a peirod of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
