This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioners and her family members for life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2015. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the case is of the year 2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted now.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
