This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission for conducting various sports activities like (Kabadi Tournament on 07.04.2018 at about 11.00 pm to 08.04.2018 at about 11.00 am at Pillayarkovil Tidal Kalloothu, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District for the completion of Panguni Uthiram festival at Pillayarkovil Tidal Kalloothu, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2018 within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

conducting Kabadi Tournament at Pillayarkovil Tidal, Kalloothu, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District for the completion of Panguni Uthiram festival. As no order has been passed by the second respondent in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the said representation is still pending with the second respondent, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 06.04.2018.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
