The petitioner's allegation is that in the petition mentioned lands, which are said to belong to him, the fifth respondent is indulging in illegal sand mining. The petitioner has given a complaint in this regard. Since no action was taken, the writ petition came to be filed.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the third respondent / Tahsildar has already conducted an enquiry in the matter and submitted a report before the second respondent.
3. The second respondent is directed to pass final orders on the petition mentioned representation, after due notice to the fifth respondent. Such an order shall be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on the merits of the matter.
