[Judgment of the Court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] The appellant filed the writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.2020 of 2021 seeking transfer of patta in his name.

2. The learned Single Judge, by order dated 05.02.2021, dismissed the writ petition citing the pendency of the Civil Court proceedings. Hence, this writ appeal.

Today, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions from the Tahsildar, Thiruverumbur, states that based upon the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, Trichirappalli, dated 18.03.2022, Patta No.1782 has been granted in favour of the appellant herein in respect of the land in Survey No.32/5 of Ilanthaipatti Village.

5. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for consideration in this writ appeal and the same is, therefore, closed. No costs. [T.K.R., J.] [N.S., J.] 06.12.2024 NCC :
