ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.338 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent to 3rd respondent or any other competent investigate agency.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant, on whose instance, FIR in Crime No.338 of 2025 was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), & 103(1) of BNS, 2023 with respect of the murder of his son, namely, Karthikeyan, by one Alagar. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition came to be filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police on instructions, would submit that the investigation in this case has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, through online in E-Filing No.LTN20220001967C202600073 on 18.02.2026. However, it has not been taken on file.

4. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, is also directed to take the case on file forthwith. This Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised.
