O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application seeking transfer of patta dated 17.01.2018 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner's application dated 17.01.2018 seeking for transfer of patta in Survey No.99/17 measuring an extent of 11⁄2 cents (654 sq.ft.) in his favour, has been kept pending without any progress and hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.It is needless to point out that the application seeking for transfer is made, the respondents are duty bound to pass orders on the same in one way or the other, without keeping it indefinitely. 4.In view of the limited prayer sought for, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.01.2018 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before passing orders on the petitioner's application, the respondent shall give due opportunity to all the persons, who may be interested in the subject lands. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
