Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the First Information Report in Crime No.119 of 2022 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as illegal in respect of the petitioners/accused 1 to 4.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the first information report in Crime No.119 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent police, insofar as the petitioners are concerned. 2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the first respondent and submits that the investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.III, Kanniyakumari and the same is taken on file by the learned Magistrate in CC No.442 of 2023 on 29.03.2023.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if they are having any grounds. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is also closed.
