This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus against the third respondent Executive Officer, Arulmighu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, Palani, Dindigul District to permit the petitioner to participate in the tender process in Tender Reference No.368/32019/E1 dated 31.01.2020 for construction of Additional Class rooms, Library, Laboratory for Arulmighu Palaniandavar Women's College at Chinnakalaiyamuthur, Palani. The last date for submission of the tender documents is fixed as 05.03.2020 at 3.00 p.m.
2.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader actually stated that the petitioner may even give the tender documents directly. At any rate, it is appropriate for the petitioner to make a visit to Palani and drop the tender documents in the tender box. The Executive Officer is directed not to prevent the petitioner from doing so.
4.The statement of learned Special Government Pleader that at no point of time, the respondents have prevented any tenderer from participating in the tender is recorded. 5.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
