ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/ accused No.4 apprehends arrest at the hands of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Madurai for the offences punishable under Sections 120(b), 467, 468, 471 and 420 of IPC and under Sections 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in Crime No.8 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent.
3.This Court had earlier granted Anticipatory Bail to the coaccused on the cause of action takes back to the year 1993. 4.Considering the facts of this case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Special Judge, Trial of Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Madurai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
