RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant an of stay of all further proceedings pursuant to the order passed by the court below in M.C No. 96/2013 dated 18.10.2019 on the file of the Learned Family Court, Madurai Pending disposal of the above Criminal Revision Petition. Prayer in CRL RC(MD)No.698 of 2020:

To set aside the order 18.10.2019 made in M.C.No.96 of 2013 on the file of the learned Family Court, Madurai and allow the above Revision Petition.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.SURESH KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to issue an order of interim stay all further proceedings in M.C.No.96 of 2013, dated 18.10.2019, on the file of the Family Court, Madurai, pending disposal of this Criminal Revision.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is ready to deposit 50% of arrears of maintenance as well as monthly maintenance and prayed for a stay order. 3.Though notice was served on the respondent and her name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent.

CRL MP(MD) No.7336 of 2020 4.In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner's counsel, interim stay is granted, on the following condition :- (i)the petitioner is directed to deposit 50% of the arrears amount within a period of four weeks from the date of the order and to deposit 50% of the monthly maintenance amount every month i.e. on or before 5th day of every English Calender month before the trial Court.

5.If the above condition is not complied, the stay order granted shall stand automatically vacated without any further reference to this Court.

6.Post the main case on 15.04.2021.
