This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2025 and to pass orders to conduct petition enquiry by any other investigating agency under the supervision of the third respondent.

2.According to the petitioner, he preferred a complaint before the third respondent on 09.11.2024 against one K.Nagulappan, P.Elangovan and S.Suganthi for the offences of cheating and forgery. The fourth respondent issued summons twice after expiry of the date of enquiry. In the mean time, the accused also influenced the fourth respondent and the fourth respondent forced the petitioner to withdraw the complaint and to settle the issue. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, the matter is under enquiry and that the fourth respondent already issued summons to the petitioner. He further submitted that hereafter, they will issue summons well in advance and conduct enquiry in a fair manner. The allegation against the fourth respondent that he has forced the petitioner to withdraw the complaint is false. However, he further submitted that the respondents will complete the enquiry within one [1] week. 3/6

4.This Court heard both sides and perused the records placed before this Court.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the fourth respondent, this Court directs the fourth respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one [1] week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
