ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 14 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.165 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the present complaint is an offset of the earlier complaint, which has been registered in Crime No.712 of 2014 and therefore, this is only an abuse of process of law and the complaint has been given based upon mere surmise.

3. It appears that the earlier complaint is still pending investigation. Thus, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, the complaint should be investigated and final report will have to be filed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
