O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his younger daughter, namely, Veeralakshmi, aged about 27 years old before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner would claim that he is having three daughters and the detenue was married to one Saravanakumar. During the lawful wedlock, they are blessed with a girl child, namely, Madhunisha, aged about 5 years. The petitioner would further state that the detenue is a tailor by profession and she is found missing from 02.03.2021 and her cell phone is also switched off and hence, he lodged a complaint with the second respondent. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner, the detenue and her husband Saravanakumar appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Public Prosecutor Office. On enquiry, the detenue would state that she was married one Saravanakumar in the year 2014 and they are having a child. It is further stated that for the past four years they have been living separately due to some dispute, therefore she started residing with her parents, where, she was harassed so, she left her parents house for searching employment. It is further stated that she is now residing with her friend at Shencottah and after getting job she will contact her father, the petitioner herein.

4. In the light of the above statement, we find no merits in the habeas corpus petition and hence, this petition is dismissed.
