The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025.

2. A perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner is running a business of gold finance. It is stated that the petitioner had re-pledged certain jewels with third parties. However, the said third parties have not permitted the petitioner to redeem the jewels. In such circumstances, the petitioner approached the respondent seeking appropriate action. It is the grievance of the petitioner that, although several similar issues have been resolved by the respondent in other cases, in the present case, no notice has been issued to the private gold finance companies concerned, and summons have been issued only to the petitioner. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to issue summons to all the private gold finance companies with whom the petitioner had dealings in respect of the jewels in question, and thereafter, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
