ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking permission for conducting the temple festival of Sri Arulmighu Bhagavathiamman Kovil, which situated at Rayavellur village, Andipatty Taluk, Theni District scheduled to be held from 22.05.2019 to 24.05.2019 and for grant of adequate police protection.

2.Heard the M/s.M.Benazir Begum, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondents.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the order of the second respondent dated 13.05.2019, granting permission for conducting the said temple festival.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that adequate police protection may also be provided. 5.Therefore, the second respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection if the situation arise. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
