Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct Physical Measurement Test/Endurance Test for petitioner and consequentially direct the respondents to allow the petitioner for the next level of selection process in pursuant of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, to the post of Grade II Police Constables (Men, Women and Third Gender), Grade-II Jail Warders (men & Women) and Firemen-2020.

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The petitioner herein, who had participated in the selection process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board for the post of Grade-II Police Constables (Men, Women & Third Gender), Grade-II Jail Warders (Men & Women) and Firemen, pursuant to the notification of the year 2019, seeks permission to participate in the Physical Measurement Test/Endurance Test in the next level of selection process. Every selection process, pursuant to the notification would be guided by the performance of the candidates in that particular selection process and the Physical Measurement Test or Physical Endurance Test in the earlier notification will have no bearing on the subsequent selection. If at all the petitioner qualifies in the subsequent notification of the year 2020, it would be open to the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.5533 of 2021 to assess the petitioner as per the procedure adopted for that current selection process i.e., for 2020-2021. 3.Insofar as 2019 selection process is concerned, it is stated by the learned Additional Advocate General that the selection process is over as on 04.02.2020 and the successful candidates have also commenced their training on 03.05.2020.
4.In this background, I do not find any merits in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
