This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the guise of enquiry and to follow the procedure established under the law.

2.According to the petitioner, there is a money dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent and based on the same, the third respondent lodged a false complaint against the petitioner. Taking advantage of the same, the second respondent used to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Therefore, he sent a representation, dated 12.02.2025 to the respondent police and the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the third respondent lodged a

complaint before the first respondent and the same was forwarded to the second respondent. After enquiry, it is found that the petitioner borrowed money for a sum of Rs.24 Lakhs from the third respondent. On account of which, there is a money dispute between them. He would further submit that the investigation is pending and they will complete the same within a week.

4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to dispose of this petition.

5.Since the enquiry is pending, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a week. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
