Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records in detention order passed in C.O.C.No.07/2021 dated 03.03.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely, Chettikannan @ Kannan, S/o Marimuthu, male, aged 33 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu namely, Chettikannan @ Kannan, male, aged about 33 years, S/o Marimuthu, who has been branded as "Boot Legger" by the second respondent in C.O.C.No.07/2021 dated 03.03.2021, as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.387 of 2021 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.1834, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Department, dated 19.04.2021, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government.

3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
