ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A9 was arrested by the respondent police on 02.05.2018 and remanded to judicial custody for the alleged offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 294(b), 353, 307 IPC and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, in connection with a case in Crime No.97 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police and hence seeks bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that when the de-facto complainant was proceeding for effecting arrest of the accused persons in another case, the petitioner along with the other accused prevented him from doing his lawful duty and used filthy language towards the de-facto complainant and tried to attack the de-facto complainant and also threatened him with dire consequences. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that a false case has been foisted against the petitioner and in the alleged occurrence, no person is said to be injured. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in jail from 02.05.2018 and hence, the petitioner may be released on bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that in this case, the investigation is almost over.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the allegation made against the petitioner, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.
6.Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m and 5.00 p.m until further orders.
