ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limp.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is at grave threat in the hands of his wife. They are already separated and his wife Rohini, had filed a maintenance case before the Family Court, Punalur, Kerala, in M.C.No.2 of 2026 and she had developed several illegal affairs. When the petitioner had proceeded to the said Court, his wife with her henchman is trying to harm the petitioner's life and limb and hence, this case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that had that version of the petitioner's counsel been true, the petitioner would have lodged a complaint before the Punalur police, Kerala, or at least before the respondent police. So far, no complaint has been received from the petitioner in the said line and the Tamilnadu police cannot waste their time by giving protection to the petitioner to attend the maintenance case.

4. This Court find meaning in the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and don't find any merit in this petition. 2/4
