The second respondent is the complainant in Crime No.93 of 2016 registered on the file of the Inspector of Police, B1 Melur police station, Madurai District. The petitioner is none other the husband of the defacto complainant. To quash the same, this criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Since the parties had reunited, there is no purpose in keeping the impugned First Information Report alive. Since the defacto complainant has no objection for quashing the impugned First Information Report, the same stands quashed. The criminal original petition stands allowed.
