O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition, seeking to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.290 of 2023, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the signature found in the cheque is a forged one. Also, he submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Kanniyakumari, and a case has been foisted against him at Kamuthi.

3.Though the petitioner has raised several grounds, this Court is of the opinion that it can be appreciated only during the trial. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file an application under Section 205 of Cr.P.C before the trial Court. In the event, if the petitioner makes out a case, the trial Court shall consider the same and shall grant relief.
