According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, petitioner's husband namely Palanivel was assaulted with deadly weapons and her husband died on the occurrence spot. The third respondent registered a case in Crime No.341 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 341, 307 and 302 of IPC dated 29.08.2016
and subsequently, the investigation was conducted by the second respondent and they laid final report in F.R.No.44 of 2017, dated 23.02.2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandhur, Dindugul District, for the offences under Sections 341, 302, 120 (B) and 326 of IPC r/w 3 (2) (v), 3 (1) (r) (s) of SC ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015. After filing the final report, the case was committed to the learned Principal District Sessions Court, Dindugul in S.C.No.144 of 2017.
2. Now the respondents No.4 to 8 came out on bail and started to continuously threaten the petitioner and her family members for withdrawing the case. The petitioner's elder brother Rathnavel gave a complaint on 05.07.2017 . The petitioner has also made a representation on 26.12.2017 to the respondents 1 to 3, insofar as no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the case has been registered against the respondents 4 to 8 and the said representation is still pending.
4. In the light of the above observations, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
