This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Special Court under TNPID Act Cases (Economic Offences), Madurai to expedite the trial with complete examination of depositors including the petitioner in C.C.No.1 of 2008 on the file of Special Court for TANPID Act Cases, (Economic Offences), Madurai (Previously CC.No.20 of 2000 on the file of Special Court Under TANPID Act/City Civil Court, Chennai 104).

respondent.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner was acquitted vide judgment dated 29.12.2016 in respect of C.C.No.1 of 2008 and in view of the judgment passed on 29.12.2016, nothing remains for further adjudication in this matter. 5.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
