ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 306, 116 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.469 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The petitioner is a mother in law of the deceased. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the deceased had given a dying declaration implicating the petitioner herein. 3.This Court went through the F.I.R as well as the dying declaration. It is seen that the petitioner scolded the deceased. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that the petitioners son who is the husband of the deceased was a drunkard. The grievance of the petitioner was that the deceased was aiding him by cooking non-vegetarian items for him. It is this that had given rise to the occurrence in question. 4.Taking note of the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.1, Thanjavur District and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. 5.The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
