This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.03/Ka.Aa/Ilai/Siva.Vu.Ko/Siva/2025 dated 05.02.2025 passed by the second respondent and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to permit conduct drama - Sri Mahamayi Chinna Karuppau, Periyakaruppu on 26.02.2025(Wednesday) at Night 10.00 pm. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to Yadava Community and the said community people used to conduct festival during Maha Sivarathiri, thereby, he sent a representation, dated 05.02.2025 to the second respondent for conducting drama, namely, Sri Mahamayi Chinna Karuppu, Periyakaruppu, but the request was rejected through order dated 05.02.2025. Hence this petition has been filed. 2/5

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already another party also sent a representation to conduct Aadal Padal and the same was rejected and they filed a petition before this Court and this Court allowed the petition and granted permission to conduct Aadal padal programme with certain restrictions. The petitioner also wants to conduct drama on the same date. Therefore, there are chances for law and order issue. He would further submit that the respondent police won't allow any party to conduct any programme beyond 11.00 p.m. Therefore, if the petitioner pre-pone or postpone the drama, they will consider the petitioner's request.

4.Since this Court already granted permission to conduct Aadal Padal to another group on the same day from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm, it is for the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, if any freshly submitted by the petitioner. In the mean while, the petitioner is directed to approach the second respondent by filing a fresh representation and same has to be considered by the second respondent without any delay.
