PRAYER :- for Bail in Crime No.36 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This petition has been filed by the petitioner/ accused seeking bail for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147,148,341,120(B) and 302 of IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the rivalry between two groups has let to retaliation murder of one Pugalendi who is the prime accused in the murder case of Manikandan @ Gym Mani. When the victim came out from the jail and reporting before the concerned police as per the bail condition he was done to death by gang suspecting the involvement of the petitioner, the police has arrayed him as one of the accused.

CRL OP(MD). No.4136 of 2020 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is a long hue between two groups and during the month of September 2019, Manikandan @ Gym Mani was done to death by one Pugalendhi and Senthilkumar. The said Pugalendhi was secured by the police and remanded to judicial custody. Later he was granted bail by the Court on 10.12.2019. Pursuant to the bail condition the said Pugalendhi came to the Uraiyur Police Station and at the time the accused and others who took revenge for the murder of Manikandan @ Gym Mani attacked Pugalendhi and murdered him in the broad day light.
4. Considering the chain reaction of this armed group causing disturbance to the public peace and tranquility wreck vengeance against each other and establish their supermacy.
5. This Court is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for any liberty till investigation is completed or else there is every possibility to tampering the witnesses. 6.In the result, the bail petition is dismissed. sd/- 05/03/2020 / TRUE COPY / / /2020 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
