The Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam (hereinafter referred to as the 'Trial Court' for short) to proceed with the case pending in O.S.No. 158 of 2021 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. 1/4

It is seen from the records that appearance of both the parties has been required from 18.02.2023 onwards and the matter had been posted last on 27.03.2024 and the next hearing is on 18.06.2024, when both the parties would have to appear before the Trial Court and depending upon its outcome, further course of action would follow in the matter.

It is made clear that if either of the parties fails to appear on the next hearing, the Trial Court shall not show anymore indulgence to the defaulting party and shall ensure that there is atleast one effective hearing every week showing progress of the suit and quarterly reports are sent in that regard to the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court till final order is passed. In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
