This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal program perform in "Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 08.05.2018 at 08.00 p.m., to 12.00 p.m., at Arulmigu Sri Kamatchiamman Thirukovil at Idayakattanur Vilalge, Vaiyampatti Post, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

representation on 04.04.2018 with the aforesaid prayer. Since no order has been passed, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that earlier there was a dispute regarding conduct of festival between two rival groups therefore, a criminal case was also registered and the same is pending. He further submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, by taking note of the earlier antecedents.

5.Considering the above submissions made on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the parties concerned. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
