Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 1st respondent from confirming the auction made on 29.1.2020 in the 5th respondent Village Panchayat in respect of lease of fishery rights in the 24 tanks situated in Kalyana Odai Village on the basis of the enquiry report, dated 11.02.2020 submitted by the 3rd respondent to the 1st respondent and further on the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2020 and further direct the respondents to conduct fresh auction for lease of fishery right over all the 25 tanks including Udayarkulam Tank situated in kalyana Odai Village.

ORDER

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the auction, which is the subject matter of challenge, has not been proceeded with. Therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.

2. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
