ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.394 of 2010 on the file of the respondent before the lower Court within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It appears that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.394 of 2010 for the alleged offences under Sections 452, 323, 427 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., by the respondent police.

4. It is stated that there was no further progress and that therefore, a direction by this Court will be in the interest of justice.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions

submitted that the investigation is nearing on completion and that the respondent is likely to file final report within a short time.

6. Recording the said statement, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.394 of 2010 before the concerned Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
