O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.02.2018 on the file of the respondent police and to investigate the same and file a final report. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the one Priyal are husband and wife. At the instigation of the wife of the petitioner, the proposed accused persons tried to attack the petitioner / de facto complainant and threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent police. Since the respondent police has not taken any action, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and dispose of the same in accordance with law. If the enquiry discloses any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
