Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019 regarding to appoint her to the post of Anganwadi worker in any one of the Anganwadi Centre situated at Ottapidaram Region, Tuticorin District, within a stipulated time.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent to appoint her to the post of Anganwadi worker in any one of the Anganwadi Centres, situated at Ottapidaram Region, Tuticorin District, by considering her representation dated 03.05.2019, within a stipulated time.
2. Mr. K.Mu. Muthu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.
4. The petitioner is an aspirant to the post Anganwadi Worker. According to the petitioner, her earlier application for the post of Principal Anganwadi Worker at Iyaravanpatti Panchayat Anganwadi Centre, was not considered by the respondents. Now, the petitioner came to know through the Right to Information Act that there are three vacancies in various Anganwadi Centre at Ottapidaram Region, Tuticorin District. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 03.05.2019 to the first respondent seeking to appoint her as an Anganwadi Worker in any one of the Anganwadi Centres at Ottapidaram Region. As there was no response to the same, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the first respondent, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2019.
6. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, which has been agreed by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.05.2019 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
